MAKERS OF VENICE

A comprehensive journey to research, meet, interview and profile Venetian artisans, their crafts, the challenges they face, and the hidden stories of a city visited by many but truly known by few.

Venice’s crafts have a particular richness and beauty, the kind born from a long legacy of design, expertise, and standards of true excellence. Its workshops and warehouses offer a window into a lesser-explored side of Venetian heritage and contemporary creative business.

We curated and profiled these spaces & people to promote an alternative way to experience the city while supporting its social fabric, cultural preservation and regeneration.
